Painting on the moon

An Astronaut in space, looking at the moon

A close up of the drawing

In the top right corner I added the big dipper constellation.

Finished! my initials in a connected constellation.

And here are some of my photos of the beautiful moon.

DIY Popsicle Hexagon Shelf

DIY Popsicle Shelf
Materials:
  • Popsicles - I used 100 ct from Dollar Tree to make 1 shelf (I suggest more)
  • Wood glue or Elmer's glue
  • Paint - I used gold spray paint
I made an outline on paper to make sure the shape turned out right.
50 ct stack down
Let the glue dry and then spray paint
Make sure to flip and spray both sides
After hanging mine up it I realized it needed more layers
or something smaller to sit on the shelf.
Ill be making more shelves to go with the one
and adding more layers. This shelf had 90 Popsicle sticks - 15 sticks wide.
I got this original idea here.

Snowflake wall ornaments from popsicle sticks

Hanging snowflake wall art from popsicle sticks.
All you need is popsicle sticks, hot glue, and paint. Super simple and easy to take up empty space that is just asking for some decorations.
I chose gold since it looks classic.

Hot glue your desired design. It took 1 package of popsicle sticks (100 ct) for 2 large ornaments.
 Paint it gold!
 Before the paint & after.

Our tree is half decorated here since we're taking it down very slowly this year...
Now I just don't know how I will store these without breaking them before the next year.
